A 30-year-old man worrying about his father who was hospitalized for Covid-19 died of suicide on Monday afternoon. The man, an engineer who recently shifted from Gurugram, has recovered from Coronavirus’s disease earlier this month but his father was tested positive as soon as he was in critical condition, said a police officer Jaipur.
“His father was in critical condition and underwent treatment at the hospital without improvement in his health. He is scheduled to be transferred to another hospital,” said Nemi Chand, Station House Officer from the Jawahar Circle Police Station. Chand said the man was worried about his father’s health.
Around 2:45 a.m., the man told his mother that he stepped out to buy medicines. He, however, climbed the stairs and allegedly jumped from the fourth floor of the apartment building.
The police said the neighbor heard a loud voice and found it in a pool of blood. The ambulance took him to the hospital where he later died of an injury.
“We talked to his family and friends and they said he was very worried about his father who did not show signs of recovery. He was also worried about transferring it to a different hospital. All of this took great casualties on his mental health,” said a second police officer ,
The police have taken Jain videos falling from the building terrace.
