Twitter was marked as a manipulation media spokesman Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tweet Samit Patra on the Toolkit, or a social media campaign manual, that his party on Tuesday claimed the Congress had been anxious to defame Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP accused this toolkit aimed at building a biased narrative of the handling of the Indian government from the second wave of Covid-19, and the Vista Center project.
Many Top BJP leaders, including JP Nadda heads and IRANI Union ministers, Hardeep Puri, Anurag Thakur, Piyush Goyal, Tweet Amplified Patra.
Congress accused BJP to concoct documents in Covid-19 to slander the opposition party. It wrote to Twitter on Thursday looking for actions against Patra and other BJP leaders for the “very misused” platform. Congress accuses BJP to pamper themselves in the “massive spread of false information”, which “has the potential to cause social unrest in the country”.
Congress spokesman Pawan Khera posted a screenshot of tweets marked and wrote on Twitter: “Doctored Patra …. Human Rights Nahah, Zamana Kehisti Hai [We did not say this; the world is]”
There is no direct response from BJP. HT reached to Twitter for comments but did not immediately receive one.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the Head of the Research Department of the Congress Rajeev Gowda said: “BJP spreads fake ‘Toolkit’ on ‘Covid-19 mismanagement’ & connects it with the AICC Research Department [All India Congress]. We submit [First Information Report First] For forgery against @jpnadda & @sambitswaraj when our country was destroyed by Covid, instead of providing assistance, BJP by not shamelessly concocting to forgery. “
